Pisses Me Off.......the Republicans Much Better At Theater than Democrats....

I hate to admit it as I want Bush out more than anyone, but having McCain followed by Gulliani on the first day was brilliant theater by the Republicans..........they are playing on emotions hardcore, unlike the Democrats who had a soft-peddling convention........

this was a strategic mistake by the Dems as they should have hit Bush and hit him hard.............already Gulliani was slamming Kerry for being a waffler and his speech had more emotional impact than the entire Dem convention, which pisses me off.

These Republicans know theater and the appeal to emotions, especially terrorism. The Dem convention was a real wasted opportunity compared to what the Repubs are doing, this I admit to sadly.

I could have sworn that Bush promised never to use 9/11 for political gain. *shrug* maybe I was dreaming :)

I think I was dreaming when I considered believing it for a pico-second actually..

They're gonna wrap themselves in the flag and 9/11 like you've never seen before.............try and get everyone to forget about the sluggish economy etc.............and I think for voters on the fence, its an effective tactic to sway them.........

lets hope Kerry and the Dems go on the offensive and answer this.

Isn't using people's fear of terrorist attacks in order to gain/hold political power in itself a form of terrorism? :2 cents:

This shouldn't suprise you, the Republicans are great at theater because they get all the practice everyday when they lie through their fucking teeth about everything they say :)

I heard the greatest quote from the White House Chief of Staff today, "We want this convention to be about the politics of hope and the optimism that only we republicans can bring out of America and help to wash away all of the negative feelings the Kerry crowd has infected the country with."

HOPE????? REPUBLICANS??? FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!

If you call record debt, no jobs, worse economy in American history, constant slamming on CURRENT vets as well as Vietnam vets, lieing every second of the day, lieing to start wars, killing thousands of innocent people all over the world including our own people, and destroying the very fabric of what America stands for and was built on. Sure they are very positive folks.

Republicans, :321GFY
