anyone ever have this problem with Network Solutions?

ok, i had this domain registered with them like 4 years ago or something. i totally forgot about it, and now i want to move it to a new host / change the nameserver.

so i try to log in, i forgot my password. shit. alright, so i type in the last 4 digits of my SS number - they say it isn't right.

so they give me the option of having it sent to my email address. the email address that is on file was with an ISP has been out of business for like 3 years.

so now i'm in this infinite loop. all i get are standard auto replies to my emails that don't help.

to change the email on file, i need access to the existing email on file.

Call them.. I had the same problem with a domain I registered like 8 years ago.. Called them and they cleared it right up..

At the time I had to fax them a letter on company letter head, but not a big hassle

Sometimes they will fix things right away, and others they will bug the shot out of you with do this to prove who you are etc..
