PC audio upgrades

For the past year or two I've had a MidiLand S4 8200 . Since I've had these PC speakers, they've seen their fair share of abuse yet they still stand strong and hit hard. I'm really not much of a gamer, so the main usage is to play Mp3s and music.

I'm currently looking for a new system, but I'm not really sure which direction to go. I want something that can play high notes with clarity while putting out deep nut shaking bass.

Right now I'm looking at the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1

I'm just wondering what audio setup would you guys suggest?
I'm no expert, so I'll take everything into consideration.

Preferred spot: eBay / PayPal payments
I dont really care much about the price range, but something $0.00 - $1,500.00 area would be good.

Do you already have a home theater system? I have my desktop audio out running to mine. It won't affect the sound if you have to run a little wire to reach.

Looking pretty good . I only have a normal sub system ... like a 150 $ system

I have that set of speakers (Klipsch Pro Media 5.1 Ultra) and I LOVE them, they sound great not only for music, but games. THe woofer is huge and can really thump :)

I put it together with the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS sound card, it doesn't get much better than that :)

DEFINATELY buy those speakers, you'll love them !!!

M-Audio Revolution 7.1 sound card, is more well suited in my opinion. None the less Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS (7.1) isn't too shabby.

I recently picked up the Logitech Z-2200 ($50 rebate until october) and though it's only a 2.1 setup..

NICE stuff for music, which is my sole use here.
