The last few days my grandfathers health has turned for the worse again and i have spent most of my days and nights up there taking care of him. I was hoping to atleast pull off this round but family is more important over any $ of prizes. It was fun to be in and i wish all the girls the best of luck with the contest. pretty happy I made it this far but I have to do whats best for myself and as well as my family. Thanks again everyone

thanks for all the kind words.. as many of you know i have been going between my place and the hospital (4 hours away) almost every other day... this is more important to myself and i could not juggle doing extra things while doing what is most important.

I'm so sorry to hear that hun, I hope he get's better!

That sucks badly ... I'd probably leave for couple days too if my grandpa was really sick

been driving between hamilton to trenton (the hospital he is at) for the last 4-5 months as much as i can (usually 2-3 times a week) spent saturday/sunday there and the choice was easy to spend more time up there now..

For you being a stand up person, and being there for your family, you've already won alot more than any contest could provide.

You should move to the next round regardless, imho.

As for the contest, I know it's been taking a lot longer than expected, but I'd vote to let you pass on to the next round. Maybe do 9 girls instead of 8? You're a fierce competitor & deserve to be in it down to the final 4, IMO.
