what kind of Desktop do you have?

Dell? HP? Compaq? Gateway? Sony? etc etc etc

a custom one?

:)

Jakke PNG 08-30-2004 07:49 AM

I got a custom one. Much more fun to build it yourself with component and then spend hours and hours to fix the damage you've done, or even locate it. It's good fun.

the_wizz 08-30-2004 07:50 AM

Homebrew all the way!!!

lilspup 08-30-2004 08:16 AM

I have a Dell right now, but I'm hoping to build my own soon.

Raf1 08-30-2004 08:18 AM

I have two custom computers in my home office. I like building and upgrading them myself :glugglug

Useless Warrior 08-30-2004 08:20 AM

Yup, custom here too. Built it out some old Prime Star receivers, three beer cans, and the ignition switch from '73 el Torino.

Custom all the way got building them off to a fine art!!!

Theo 08-30-2004 08:21 AM

I got a locally built one that turned out to be such a lemon that I eventually replaced everything in it, including the case, so I have a computer I built myself:glugglug

mardigras 08-30-2004 08:44 AM

Oops, that's not entirely accurate... I still have my original soundcard.:glugglug

scoobydookc 08-30-2004 03:27 PM

I've got 3 desktops actually :(

One gateway, one E-Machines (hey, what are you going to do?), and a Compaq.... I use HP laptop with the new AMD64 processor.... pretty nice... the Gateway Desktop is out of commission at the moment, and E-Machines is crap... but I'm using 2 of the 3 currently...

jOdEs 08-30-2004 03:28 PM

RedShoe 08-30-2004 03:31 PM

I agree with TGF. I have machines that I built myself. It's much easier to buy the pieces yourself becuase they don't load it with shit you don't need.

atvrider0 08-30-2004 04:01 PM

I have a half assed do it yourself computer, it was a HP then I bought a alum. case for it and some lights then I updated the video card ram. so its not a home brew but this bitch is getting a new motherboard and processor soon. I still wanna try building someday.

atvrider0 08-30-2004 04:02 PM

sorry I upgraded video card AND then the ram
