Generating traffic through Search Engine Backdoors (Article)
 

There's two ways to attack a problem--from the front and from everywhere else. When it comes to traffic generation, if you have the monehe y and tresources, you can launch a full frontal assault traffic generation campaign through the USUAL SUSPECTS of traffic generation:

Paid advertising
Affiliate programs
PPC search engines
Costly SEO campaigns (specially for heavily saturated keywords and search terms)
Branding campaigns
etc etc

However if you don't have money but have a lot of time and dedication, you can attack the traffic problem from the backdoor. Also, if you HAVE money but don't like wasting it on saturated traffic generation schemes, you can also try backdoor approaches.

I like the P2P article, kinda reminds me what I did a couple of years ago, only targeting german surfers and sending them straight to a dialer. worked great for a couple of month.

btw: if you spam P2P make sure you can afford the bandwith, a modified gnutella client (matching wildcard searches) can easily suck up 60MBit.

btw. this shit gets you nailed in almost every country eg in germany some guys were sentenced to 2 years and euro 250,000 fine by the "bezirksgericht hessen".

it also will bring you about 10 c&d letters everyday and a lot of sponsors will lock your accounts, your hosts will unplug your servers and if anything in your whois is incorrect then the registrar can take your domains.
