Webmasters North of Palm Beach County
Looks like South Florida will get some of it but you guys North of us will get the direct hit. And they are expecting it to go to Cat 5 which means widespread destruction.

Consider also Florida has 400 miles of coast on the east side and 800 miles on the Gulf side. The real devastation of a major hurricane is usually about 40 miles wide path at most. So on the east side you've got a 1 in 10 chance of a hit and on the west side 1 in 20 and combined a 1 in 30. So the odds are actually pretty small of really getting nailed hard. The one in 1928 that hit here direct in PBC killed 1,800 people who died because of the massive flooding it caused. |
I'm getting the hell outta here if this one gets close, it look like it could be some big trouble here in FL
|
Damn scary to be living there :(
|
yep looks like it is heading right for us

Shit the last storm I could feel the entire building moving in the wind (3 story apt building) So I know damn well I'm not sticking around for a full head on hit no doubt about that. |
At least you get a warning ahead of time with hurricanes. Tornados and earthquakes don't let you they are coming a week ahead.
