40 acres of Oregon outback
I'm considering purchasing 40 acres of Oregon outback/country. The land is pretty secluded, but it's also near a large river. The seller is asking $3000 for the land, is it worth it?

I see an ATF/FBI raid on your property in the future where your wife and children die of random gunshot wounds.

it would be a better idea to have it appraised then to ask a buch of people on gfy

The catch is it's out in the middle of nowhere, and pretty damn isolated. The property also consists of mostly desert land.

If it's only 3k just buy it and sit on it for 10 years...if you decide to build something there thats cool too. You cant get 10 square feet here for that.

There are a few things to consider.
What is yur age, and how long do you plan on holding the property, is it an investment, etc.. But the big question should be, is whay is it for sale so cheap. Do some research about that property first. |
Remote worthless land usually stays remote and worthless no matter how long you own it so I wouldn't suggest buying it as an investment.
However, if you have a 4x4 & a gps unit that piece of land could be a shitload of fun to romp around and hunting/camping. I'd say go for it, 3k is a drop in the bucket for that much land unless there is a toxic waste dump on it somewhere... |
fuck yeah thats an elite deal! I would go for that! The greater NW is so tight, people take it for granted that live around there!
GO BIG RED! :thumbsup :thumbsup |

18 hours? Dude, unless I had a personal jet, I would hate to own land 18 hours away from me. Just my :2 cents: |
