Need annoying toolbar for your web site?

InstantBar - toolbar for webmasters!

InstantBar is Internet Explorer toolbar designed specially for web site owners to help promoting their websites. It allows to create toolbar easily from website, and you don't need to install any additional software builders or create xml files. Any of your changes in toolbar configuration will be effected on all computers where toolbar was installed instantly without any questions to user and without needs to install new version.

Here is how you can build toolbar for your website just within few minutes:

1) InstantBar has visual components that can be configured from administrative area, there are: Static text, Text links, Image links, Dropdown box, Search box, Separator. Detailed information could be found on our site. You can build toolbar from admin and set all text, links and images. Images will be converted to a proper format automatically on server side.

2) Now you can get installation HTML code and put it on your web site. Each visitor of that page will be prompted to install toolbar and if agree it will be installed instantly with your own toolbar configuration, look&feel, links and graphics.

3) Later you can login to your administrative area and change toolbar settings, replace components, change graphics, text or web links. All changes will be updated on all computers without reinstall

4) There are few additional features available with advanced subscription:
(a) toolbar can replace text with links by specified keywords;
(b) you can set up favorits and homepage from your administrative area using installed toolbars;

Nope - it is not totally free tool and we earn money selling software, not cheating people.

There is also free trial, you can check it out for 2 weeks and be sure.

Usually yes, that is what I mean saying annoying. Surfers will not like to have it, however you can put it on a free site and not allow them to enter till them installed it. After that his browser is your browser - sounds good, yea?

Well, I am not 100% sure he will be unhappy with it. Not more like from other toolbars, however he will continue visiting other sites, and you can direct him anywhere to other sides.

Anyway that is an option, not good to everyone.

Yeah I need something on my sites to annoy surfers and drive away traffic.. Fucking stroke of genius.

johndoebob 08-29-2004 09:00 AM

Sign up for free?How much redirects/whatever do you get when I use the free version?When something is free there is always a big catch.

A toolbar could be nice for my surfers but it shouldn't be annoying in any way (no redirects fucking up links etc.) and also easy to uninstal if the surfer doesn't want it anymore.I think I'll contact you next week about that.Are gui designs possible too or is that browser dependent how the toolbar looks?

How much of the traffic do you take? Be honest now.

Not saying that in a bad way. It's only fair for you to take your cut.

I'm going to set one up and push a thousand installs or so to see how well it works. :thumbsup

FREE Trial means it will be free for 14 days only, after that period it will be suspended and all previous installations of your toolbar will be changed to default.

We do not redirect anywhere or put any blind links - our biz is software development.

Mostly it is browser dependent, but you can put small icon sized images for each button/dropdown.

Really don't need your traffic at all, my biz is software development, and I am usually working with companies and webmasters. Surfers are really not what I am interesting in.

reynold 08-30-2004 04:01 AM

thanks...i don't need one.

Dmitry 08-30-2004 04:06 AM

Well, may be I told something wrong, but it is not totally free. Free means 14-days trial and you can decide if you need this toolbar or not.

Skip "annoying", actually it does not have anything anoying, if someone likes toolbar it would be really good for him.

As for advantages of this toolbar (for webmaster):
1) An option to "steal traffic" from other sites. That is a keyword replace function where you can turn text to links.

2) An option for dynamic update, that will update toolbar look and feel for all your toolbar users without needs to reinstall and without visiting your site at all.

By my opinion that is the most important advantages in compare to other toolbars currently available on the net.

And again, I do not need your traffic, I am selling this service and get monthly $$ for subscription.
