The Aff Top-100 List
Over the last few days I have seen several threads where sponsors share details about the performance of their top affiliates. In some of these threads AFF had come up with curiosity. I've had people ask what our top guys make. This is why we will never reveal such information.
Our top-100 list reads like a who's-who of the biggest players in the industry. In other words, you know these people. They are the wealthiest and most influential members of our community. At that level, this business is as much about politics as it is money. Where you send your traffic and where you don't when you are that influential, visible, and powerful could have significant implications to both your business and the businesses of the companies you do business with. In this regard AFF is like Switzerland. The elite all have accounts with us. But we won't ever tell. It is not a matter of being coy, it is a matter of being smart. No doubt ... this would beat any affiliate list arround here anyways ...
A sponsor top list is cool ... but knowing what other people do (when you can guess who's who) is just lame |

it's not in your TOS that you reserve the right to disclose affiliate earnings
so thanks for respecting my privacy :winkwink: |

Traffic is just like cash, in that the people who have a great deal of it must think of it in terms of "investment capital". I'd be happy to discuss with anyone why and how AFF offers the best traffic ROI in the industry. But I WILL NOT compromise the privacy of our "investors" in any way. Our policies, in that regard, are very much like those of a financial institution. j- |
Very good professional business policy! :thumbsup
Only as a suggestion though, what about allowing the affiliates to optionally hide their identity or country in the top100? :winkwink: :thumbsup |
Whatch these guys (AFF) become the biggest affiliate program around pretty soon....:2 cents:

"...biggest affiliate program...pretty soon..." huh? I won't make that argument here. But certainly there is no larger single-site adult program than AFF. j- |
only fucking idiots would say who their biggest affiliates are..
and the programs that list them but are too vague like: John H. - $9000.00 are full of shit. :2 cents: |
God that is so professional that I almost pee my pants.
Good to see someone completly serious about business in this industry. :thumbsup |
Word, I would not want my competiton to gleam anything form posting numbers.
But I love seing other peoples numbers so if anyone else wants to post feel free... |

The multi-lingual / international strategy has been very successful for us. We are actually OPENING many new markets -- not just to sex personals, but to online dating in the first place. This kind of coverage allows us to monetize ANY traffic. Whatever the source -- India, Brazil, Eastern Europe, etc -- it has value on AFF. j- |
I was pretty disappointed with the various sponsors posting stats, and I think those affiliates should be too. By looking at the locations I could guess who many of the listed affiliates were, and in many cases it wasn't just a guess, I knew exactly who it was.
Stats are nobodies business but those who work directly with those numbers. |

"I'm going to attract lots of new small affiliates by publicizing the earnings of my larger ones..." Not smart. We look after our interests (and those of our affiliates) better than that. j- |
AFF rocks.

Also some webmasters can get into serious troubles because of the local laws regarding porn.Seen by the wrong person from your city and you have problems. I doubt that guy from Shanghai likes that the stats were posted in public even if it's a very big city. :2 cents:
