and in the whole gay marriage thing at one point he says

"there are other ways for gays to get rights"

why doesn't he say that gays MUST have the SAME rights as straights?

I mean western democracy is not only freedom, but also equality !!! The same laws, rights & duties for everyone !!!

Egyptian times didn't think anything about two men having sexual relations. They highly encouraged everyone to have lots of sex, hell their religion said that the first two beings other than The Sun God came into existance when he jerked off.

Back in Roman and Greek times, young boys were regularly pimped out by their parents to the up-and-up men of society as sex toys. don't really think it's about gay rights or afro-americans rights, or whatever

it's just about the basic principle, we as democracies, should defend at all costs, namely EQUALITY

equal rights, duties & laws for everyone

and that applies for everyone, we may all be different, but that doesn't mean we should get different treatment by the law
