Which one? The new one? Or the original? The new one sucked.. I watched it last night.

I saw it last week and thought it kicked ass.

Went into it expecting it to suck and was really surprised that it didn't.

Sent me jumping a few times. :thumbsup :thumbsup

I thought the new Exorcist was really good, scared me more than the first one did.

meh.. It sucked.

I watched the new one last weekend, despite never watching the original. I was a little disapointed, not really scared (and I am such a wuss).

Tonight I watched the original, and it freaked me right out. Maybe my mother was right - I should have gone to church more often :(

Original Exorcist was a perfect movie for that genre that made in nearly impossible to follow up.

I haven't seen the new one, yet, but I say wait for the DVD. They actually shot 2 completely different versions of the flick with 2 different directors working off 2 different scripts. Both versions will be on the DVD.

I like the 2nd one ... but first one is an ALL time klassik

I had nightmares about that original Exorcist girl for nearly a year when I was a kid.

I didn't tell my mom though because I knew she wouldn't let me watch anymore horror movies.

I watched the original some time ago (home alone, dark outside), but it wasn't as scary as I expected!

Top class movie though!!

when the book first came out in paperback, we were banned from bringing a copy onto campus. didn't stop anyone. kids just took the cover of another paperback and glued it over the original.

the movie was okay but the book was better.

havent seen the original.. the new one wasnt real scary to me tho

The problem with watching it for the first time now is that you are watching it with 2004 eyes.

I heard that.........when you are talking Exorcist, I say watch I and III, those are great...................II was absolutely dreadful, and IV, this past one, Exorcist: the Beginning, was mediocre

Agreed. When i saw the original for the first time i was scared shitless... Seeing it again recently still kind of freaked me out but the impact didnt even come close to the first time i ever saw it...

Horror movies are best when you're a kid! :)

True, but on the same token I am a wuss and I get scared easily.
