Unfortunatley, it's real. Doing what it is that I do, I've seen tons, of this stuff. The gore never really bothers me as much as the tragedy of it.

My biggest fear is that one day I'll die in a car wreck like that. But then I remember I live in LA, and it's hard to die in a wreck like that when you can only get your car up to 17 m.p.h. on any freeway.

See how bright the blood is? It looks fake. Movie producers, and directors always want it darker. If they showed that in a movie, people would laugh at how fake it looks.

Side Note - for the upcoming Nic Cage movie "WindTalkers" we made close to 150 gallons of fake blood.

In the site they say it was an accident in a highway here in Brazil (Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro). I've heard about a ferrari accident there, but don't know if the pics are real or fake. I think they're real.
