What are the most essential things in your life?
 

What things do you consider the most important in your life, the things that have true meaning for you?

For me, it's a pretty short list:
- Food (inc. drinks)
- Sex (and perhaps love)
- Culture (i.e. art, music, literature, movies, - architecture etc)
- Sports
...and maybe friends


Makes me think... what the hell am I working my ass off for? The things I consider important are readily available, and don't require shitloads of money.

All I really care about is my girlfriend, my pets, my friends and my health.

Work enough so you can maintain the quality of life you desire. Never forget what is really important to you and you will be happy. It's good to have enough money to do things you want to do but work to live, don't live to work.
