Is it just me or is registerfly a pain in the ass?
I had enough problems with the shopping cart screwing up the first two times I tried to register domains with them.
First of all, when I check marked to use the "protectfly" whois proxy registrar thing it cleared my domain name from the shopping cart and sent me to check out for a $2.50 order. It did this several times before I figured out I had to add it first and then go back and register then domain. Now I'm trying to check/change my nameservers. I click on a single domain and all the settings only let you use .yourdomainname.com. Finally I check marked my *one* domain name and then clicked modify selected domains. Now when I click set/modify these dns settings it actually lets me type in the nameservers.
Despite all the positive things I've heard about RegisterFly and all the negative things I've heard about GoDaddy (and their $10 per-domain proxy registrar) GoDaddy didn't take me any time to figure out.
If I hadn't heard so many good things about RegisterFly I wouldn't have even bothered using them after the shopping cart problem. Or maybe they just don't like people who register one domain at a time?
