The first one

First one.

I figured if both of them were an eyesore, the direction I was taking the logo was way off base.

When you truncate words and the design is way wrong it's hard to figure out what you were trying to say.

I'm not trying to design a license plate so the words need to be easily read.

Win Instantly Inc. - "I" can read it just fine - but will people who come to the site be able to?

make it animated with the "IN" flashing red then black

I think Number 1 looks much cleaner.
