Not really. That's 98kg @ 180cm. Quite a few guys in my gym are even heavier at a similar height.

fill that out, put something fake for the email if you want...

the page after'll tell your BMI, rough estimation of your bodyfat%, your BMR and your suggestive caloric intake based on your goal :)

That one is a bit odd... my estimated body fat % is in the low numbers of their "target", yet they think my BMI is a "high risk factor" :helpme

Monique Niccole 08-28-2004 08:22 AM

18.2...which means I'm a little underweight. :helpme

i made it, and it's meant to fit the average person. BMI is never accurate if you try and apply it to someone with a more than average amount of muscle.

mine is in the high risk factor too. :)

pornguy 08-28-2004 09:54 AM

OK is 41.4 bad?

I mean, it cant be that bad right?

Doctor Dre 08-29-2004 12:50 AM

This thing dosen't make sence ... it cannot apply to somebody who has a lot of musle (training etc)...

It would mean I'm obese ... I got some fat but I'm FAR from beeing obese

Mine is 24.7. I work out a lot and have a very low body fat %. I guess it works better if you are not too muscular! :Graucho

Floridiot 08-29-2004 07:28 PM

Depends on if you are muscular or not. 6'2 195+ is considered overweight.

And 6'5 220 is 26.1, not 47 anything

MrIzzz 08-29-2004 07:32 PM

lmfaooooooooooooooo

FlyingIguana 08-29-2004 07:41 PM

thats a fairly crude way to measure if you're overweight. what about a bodybuilder who's like 5-6 and 200 pounds? it would call him obese

QualityMpegs 08-29-2004 07:58 PM

That shit is so fucking stupid...i got a 27.4 and that is horseshit. I guess it is irrelevant if you work out a lot.

JayJay 08-29-2004 08:05 PM

"It may overestimate body fat in athletes and others who have a muscular build."

No it's not. I just did my exhusbands and his would be 31.9 between shows and 27.4 on the day he competes, and he's pretty much nothing but skin on top of muscle by then.

Mine was 19.5

cornhusker 08-29-2004 08:20 PM

Mine was 26.3, used to be less before I started working out again.

I'm an old man though. :(
