My husband and I have been together for 14 years and don't have a joint account. It's not like we have 'my' money and 'your' money, we share everything...we just like to keep a good eye on each other, lol.

Eva runs all the financial aspectsd of the business, she deals with the accounts, payments, billings, checks, transfers and the bank. She is a company director and co owner of our business. She is the only person who deals with the bank.

She's also a dam fine shooter.

I've had my wife leave and clear out our bank account twice in the last 7 years of happiness.

Of course, that happened during the first two years of marriage. It also made me realize that there needed to be the money that we both know about, and the money that only God and I know about. Some is in stocks, some in savings accounts, and some in different electronic accounts. :Graucho

So far it has been a good arrangement. She IS listed on the accounts, even the ones she doesn't know about, just in case something happens to me she will be able to access the $$ for her and our son. But that info won't pop up unless I kick over dead, and I'm hoping that she won't be getting that info anytime soon.
