3 things about Canada.

1: Milk should come in a jug or carton. WTF is up with this milk in a bag stuff?

2: I love the fact that I can not lose my drivers license here. Cambo, on the other hand, does not seem as thrilled about this as I. He appears to be getting used to my driving now though.....Except for the 2 grand or so of damage that I did to his car tonight. :glugglug

3: Have I ever mentioned that I love Canadian women? Uh huh...well, tonight was no exception although I met a couple of Hungarian girls who made me want to fly to Budapest real soon.

BRISK 08-28-2004 12:59 AM

I've never seen milk sold in a bag in Canada, what bumfuck part of Canada are you visiting?

Great seeing you too, Brian.

Sorry to pull you away from that bitch but a true friend could not stand by and watch that happen. Juicy would never have touched her if I had stuck around to help him keep his head straight.

Most likely 2nd quarter of next year. Hungary, Czech Republic, and Amsterdam are a must.

Kassidy 08-28-2004 02:12 AM

I live on the very west coast of Canada and yes, we have milk in bags here. Apparently it's not good for you though. Something in milk is light-sensitive....Vitimin D or Calcium or something breaks down when exposed to light.

:2 cents:

pornguy 08-28-2004 02:13 AM

Could you get me a shirt??

I believe milk in bags are available only through the milkman. (Which makes sense when you think about the repercussions of a bag of milk in a shopping cart) So it's likely that if someone has bagged milk, their wife is cheating on them, at least that's what I gather from every milkman joke I've ever heard.

I will stick to drinking carbonated beverages and beer rather than bovine lactations however.

After multiple people got a bit stoned last night......A trip was made to the grocery store.

Damn. Do they just have the bags in a cooler or are they in some type of container?

They put the bags in a bigger bag. LOL. Which is then stored in a cooler with the rest of the dairy products.

When we get the milk home we take one of the smaller bags out of the big bag, then stick it in a plastic or glass pitcher, and snip the top corner off with a pair of scissors.

Apparently it's less waste in the landfills, plus we don't get any of that milk container bleach in our milk (just carcinogens from the plastic)

Sounds like it is mostly just in Ontario.

:)

1. Solve the problem. Stop drinking milk. It's bad for you.

2. Poor Cambo

3. No. You've never mentioned that.

Peaches 08-28-2004 07:24 AM

They tried selling milk in a bag when I was growing up. We were living in Atlanta at the time so it was at least 35 years ago.

My mother hated it and bitched so much that for a while she was the only one in the neighborhood who got it in a glass bottle like before. :winkwink:

Doctor Dre 08-29-2004 01:04 AM

Milk do come in a carton too ... you can choose how you want it . You can also have it in a plastic container

What? Did you get locked in a fridge when you were young?

Maybe you misunderstood what I meant by cooler. I mean one of those big things in grocery stores and convenience stores that cool the temperature of the products you place in them....like a refrigerator?

Make sense now?
