Deion Sanders, age 37, coming back to NFL...
Here's the run down:
About Deion:
So what do you think? Can Deion cut it? Or is it just another vein attempt for publicity (like when he took batting practice with the Texas Rangers earlier this year)? Full story: http://msn.foxsports.com/story/2758976 |
he's a washed up, cocky attention whore
|
hes the man
|
awesome, can't wait i have always liked him.
|
Has been...he doesn't have it left in him..he is too old
|
I actually liked his cocky attitude. For a long time he was able to back it up. Then he became a bit fragile. Not that he was a pussy he would try to play injured and most of the time that hurt the team more then it helped.
I think he will go down to injury early on. |
very hot wife shes in that ab infomercial with him
|
he will just be a distraction in the baltimore franchise...
|
If anyone can at that age...he can
|
Hope he gets nailed big time by a tight end or a running back

At least we don't have to see him wearing those nasty suits.
|
perfect opportunity to get some more cash.. must need it badly.

But we will have to see him dance. Do you think that when the do pre-game introductions for the Defensive players, he and Ray Lewis will take so much time dancing that the game time will be moved from 1pm EST to 2pm EST :1orglaugh |
Deions 22 TDs are such:
8 int returns 6 punts 3 kick-offs 3 cathes 1 run 1 fumble recovery He wasnt fired from CBS, his contract ended and he said he would only come back for double the salary. The couldnt come to an agreement, that is not fired. Deion's technique wasn't perfect but his speed made him the only player to shut a side of the field down by himself. I dont care much about 40 yard dash times in gym shorts. He was the fastest person alive in football gear, and he will still need most of that speed to be good. If he is fast enough to replace a corner baltimore becomes my AFC pick. If they stick him in middle with their nickle defense (like lewis is saying) he will not matter, and he will quit because we all know he needs attention to be happy. |
He's too old :) I doubt he'll do any good on a regular basis ... unless he only play 1 game out of 3 and train a lot
|
didnt he play for the lions too?
or am i thinking of someone else |

I've always liked him ON the field. As previously mentioned, he literally coud shut down half the field. Off the field I thought he represented everything that was wrong with pro sports. The attitude, lifestyle, and greed were a bit too much. But when he came to Dallas, I was happier than the devil in hell, and loved seeing him dance and strut all over the place, LOL. Personally I don't think he's got it anymore. I thought he started sliding his last few years in Dallas. Started slowing down and weakening against younger, stronger, and faster receivers. I'm not questioning his toughness and will though. Everyone always said he was a pussy because he would "knee-tackle" instead of takeing a huge hit, but after he pulled double duty and played over 100 plays per game, I never second guessed him. His desire and will to play is very commendable and I hope he does well. He'll probably be put in Nickel and Dime situations though and not see the time he wants. |
