StatsRemote.com: Any good? Who uses them? Comments?
 

Checking stats is a hassle.

We use them, no problems, not expensive...

They changed their stats again after we fixed it last week... will work again with the next StatsRemote update next week.

It worked ... ran the program and added the sponsors . Stats just wouldn't show up . let me try again

Well right now the free_pass / internext don't work anymore ... but the program ran fine the stats just weren't loading . probably a problem with my computer...

if you got some time I can hit you up ... but honestly I don't use enough sponsors to be worth it for me to buy ... i should have never talked ...

Well, it's up to you. We have quite a few members that only check a couple of processor stats with StatsRemote :)

Your software does not show actual clicks to sites right? It does not give detailed stats is what I am asking.

StatsRemote 'only' shows the totals for each sponsor. If you want to see more detailed info you can just click on the sponsor in StatsRemote and you will be automatically logged into the sponsor's stats.

If the software read the stats of each site it would hammer the stats servers. There were already a lot of problems in the past because certain programs couldn't (didn't want to) handle the load our members produced. In some cases stats servers crashed, in other cases some programs blocked the IP's of quite a few of our members, etc...

It's rather superfluous, but I wanted to throw in my praise for SR as well. Really great program, with excellent, timely support. It would drive me nuts trying to maintain software like that, where every week new bugs crop up not because of anything you did, but because the stats format of various websites changed. $30 a month is a bargain.

I held off forever in getting it because the expense, though minimal, was annoying for something I can do for free.

But man, once you get it for a month or two there is no looking back. :thumbsup

It DOES show clicks to the site raw & unique, right in the main stats without having to click to the sponsor and without having to ask for details.

You should pool all the stats and see which sponsors pull the most money. Would be the best top 100 ever :Graucho

Well, we don't have access to our members' stats and we don't even know which sponsors they check with StatsRemote. If we did not many people would use our software... I know I wouldn't use it if a third party had access to all our stats :)
