Thats not always true. I drive an RX-7 and I get whats called the 'ricer fly-by' all the time. Kids in riced out civics with giant spoilers, clear corners, and decals that fly past me at 90-100mph while I'm driving normal freeway speed then flash their hazards. I'm sure they go home and tell all their friends they beat an RX-7 in a race.
