CCBill or IBill

I need a processor who can split payouts between two people, after fees and affiliate payments. Ibill can't do this (although it's been a while since I asked them). Can CCBill? Is there a better processor?

Ar3s 08-27-2004 03:39 AM

Question for affiliates - do you prefer ccbill or ibill?

xxxoutsourcing 08-27-2004 04:44 AM

ccbill rock

boobmaster 08-27-2004 04:49 AM

Visa question. I have already paid The Visa fee through ibill. Would I have to pay it AGAIN through CCbill?

Ccbill for sure, because you can group more ccbill id's under 1 "parent" ID. Can't do that for ibill (for now). So with ccbill you'll get loads of small time affiliates.

Ibill started doing that two years ago but never finished. I think they still have the announcement from two years ago in the CMI.

From both an affiliate and site owner point of view, 12 months or more ago I'd have said CCBill with no hesitation. Unfortunately not any more.

sybianguru 08-27-2004 06:46 AM

I understand that splitting your payouts are important to you, but it should not be one thing you base your decision on. You can split payments yourself.
Think about who is going to give you less false declines, better service, better tools and more attention.
I'd say stick with iBill!!!
:thumbsup

boobmaster 08-27-2004 02:43 PM

Hmm! Not many good things to say about ccbill, I see.

fris 08-27-2004 02:44 PM

i have never been a fan of ibill, i see no problems with ccbill, i know people have said in the past people signing up have had problems.

Yep, and judge for yourself as well as set them up in cascading fashion. It's a win/win that way.

Babagirls 08-27-2004 04:05 PM

iBill fo' sure

Doctor Dre 08-27-2004 04:24 PM

I will agree. The ibill tools suck, much worse than what I can see of ccbill from taking their tour. The problem with ibill is that their stats have actually gotten worse over the years. Something breaks, the CMI is off-line for a few days, and when it gets back, some feature of the CMI is down. They tell you that it is temporary, which REALLY MEANS it's permanent. I am still waiting for temporaries from three years ago to resolve themselves.

That said, I won't stop using ibill altogether, even if I switch to CCbill. In spite of alll the problems, they have always paid on time. Besides, it's already set up on the paysite I am in the process of renovating. Most likely, I'd just make ibill my secondary processor and use cascading billing.

The BIG issue for me right now is the VISA fee. I really don't think it's fair for me to have to pay them TWICE. It's the same company. Just a different processor.

johndoebob 08-28-2004 07:24 AM

To me the visa fee is just lame ass blackmailing so I wouldn't wonder if you have to pay them twice.I don't really like both but still use them, ever thought about paycom, jettis, verotel etc.?

Not if I have to pay a $750 VISA fee for each new processor I sign up with. It IS blackmail, but you can't run a business and NOT accept VISA.

Hentaikid 08-28-2004 09:01 AM

I was under the impression you paid a lesser fee when you'd already paid the fee previously...

marktruman 08-28-2004 09:04 AM

ccbill

Mr. Mike 08-28-2004 09:05 AM

CCbill.

You do. It's only $375.00 annually, after a one-time fee of $750.00. However, if you add a new processor, you have to pay the initial fee for them apparently. SUCKS!

I use ccbill as both a webmaster and an aff. member - their system is by far the best, I have never had a single problem with them in any way.

ccbill for sure.
