How many domains drop each day?
 

Anyone know if there is a number out there?

between 15,000 and 25,000. there were days a few years
ago where some 50k dropped.

Hrmm domains cost nothing to maintain so I guess people just keep them arroudn

Its usually in the 5 figure range.

That's really a waste of money when you think about it. All those registration fees and the domains were probably never used.

Or perhaps they served their function and have outlived their usefulness:glugglug
