Service pac 2 ???
 

Im looking for some posts of anyone with pros and cons with the new microsoft service pac 2.

I have no desire to be an unpaid beta tester for MS. I will wait till it is a stable upgrade.

Wait man ... if your PC works fine, why break it ?

Downloaded it, no problems. Pop-up blocker works better than google's.

service pack includes an ie6 update which has an integrated pop-up blocker... it's not too bad...

Works great...had no issues at all other then a little slower on start up.

I got the BSOD & my computer wouldn't boot after installing it, had to reinstall XP lastnight :(

if you have firewall already, it is useless

It's not all about a firewall.

I downloaded it. So far no problems.

I installed it last night and it killed my net connection. Uninstalled SP2 and did a system restore.

This computer is brand new and has had next to nothing installed on it. I don't have any security problems, so I'm going to wait awhile before I try again.

If you are happy with the way your computer runs right now.. don't upgrade yet.
