i'll explain it and i hope that you take the time to read it XA.

Terra es is not an adult host, they don't have any banners on there pages and are free to use for everyone that lives in spain. But you can get an account if you don't live in spain and then you can get free banerless hosting.

But, this is wrong. There are a lot of people in this bizz that are trying to make money by for instance posting to tgp's, the only thing is that this costs a lot of bandwith so it's pritty unfair if someone comes walking in a big tgp like the hun, get's the traffic, the sign ups and walks out with the money without having to put something in.

That's why everyone on this board is against terra es and every webmaster should be against it.

I think this made things a lot clearer for XA, and guys/girls next time think about explaining someone before you start bitching

I tried terra for one gallery a lot of tgps which I used have banned the host. Their ftp is deadly slow, so it's not worth the time for me

At one tgp I found it quite interesting that while the script said "domain banned" the top spots at the same tgp had terra galleries - kinda weird huh?

I don't have a moral problem with terra because I must admit, I do list terra galleries. It would be only pathetic to be ashamed of that. I can, however as a mediator see both side of the argument and see where guys like Lightning (who I use as an example as he seems to be the strongest opposer) are coming from.

He is working hard to make a profit and to provide a service for webmasters. I can only assume that he is making a profit as I can't see him running it at a loss... but who knows some guys are weird, lol. But that is not the point... the point is that he should be proud of having such a high rate webmaster service that so many webmasters frequently praise. Not is a host like terra hurting the profit, it's also hurting the ego. Admit it or not ego counts for a hell of a lot especially in business, and can be the driving force for expansion or the eventual kick in the teeth if a business fails.

Some guys like oscer, the smutserver team, lightning seem to be working their ass off to provide such a service. But as long as terra is being used, then no doubt it will be some fucking tough competition. The people who run the free hosts can't compete with terra and no doubt they know it, it is hurting their business. And I repeat for impact - people who run the free hosts can't compete with terra and they know it.

As long as terra galleries, sites, submissions and listings continue then the guys working their ass off, no matter how hard they work, can't win. They know it. They can't win until terra is gone. Obviously that is why the free hosting guys hate terra so much - competition from other hosts is fine, but terra hurts both their business and their ego.

At least that is how I see it - correct me if I'm wrong.

Hehe, I just thought that I'd speak my mind - after so much past discussion I don't think it is worth it to have another 3 page terra thead. Let us lazy ass bastards all get back to work now!
