more if I could, but I don't put much value in material shit...the only reason I would save my turntables and pc is cause of the huge hassle of getting it all back again...it would just be easier to save

CDSmith 08-25-2004 09:31 PM

Myself, my dog, and my upstairs tenant.

Beyond that, everything else would be gravy.

My important documents, will, legal shit etc are all locked in a fireproof box. Most everything else can be replaced by insurance, new pics can be taken, new computers and cameras can be bought, can't think of anything worth risking my life over really.

Napolean 08-25-2004 09:37 PM

id just pick up my cardboard box and take it to a safe location.. problem solved :winkwink:

Smart answer! I'd probably take an inventory with the camcorder really quick while hubby loaded the car with animals, the safe contents, my external backup HD (backs up everything every day so it's current and easier to carry than the PC) and some clothes. After that I go for things that can't be replaced with insurance money. Wedding pictures, family pictures, home videos, my needlework projects that are framed, etc.

Hope nobody ever has to make that decision in their life though.

Peaches 08-26-2004 10:46 AM

Pets
Rolodex (I've had it for 10 years - everything's in it)
Laptop

That's it really. I put all my pictures and negatives in a safe deposit box

Doctor Dre 08-26-2004 11:16 AM

my daughter, my cat, my money and my GF (Notice GF comes last)

Doctor Dre 08-26-2004 11:16 AM

(she's just next to me and I'm teasing her)

Skillz Unlimited 08-26-2004 12:31 PM

My stash of Cash
Keyboard
Mixing Board
Mic
Drum Machine

My money and my music is most important. With my money I can start over and with my music i can make songs about my experience. Every thing in a wallet can be replaced like credit cards and things of that nature (I dont keep money in my wallet, just business cards and credit cards). Chances are i would already have my phone on me as people hate when i miss their call so i have to keep it on the hip.
