hey all... bored here! Having a debate with a friend of mine who loves asp as if it were his bitch. Anyhow, What do you prefer? asp can suck my dick as far as i'm concerned :)

php is better.. more widespread, and can handle a higher load of traffic ;)

php over asp anyday. But I still love mod-perl

ASP runs on M$.

M$ is a piece of shit OS that doesn't belong in datacenters, for that reason alone, PHP is better.

I dont know if you guys remember when hotmail was purchased M$. They ran IIS and Winnt for about a week, then when it crashed, they switched back to apache on linux.

ASP is nice for large, normally complex problems, the .NET stuff really helps out, (this coming from a php advocate / guru) honestly, ASP is really nice, but so is PHP and they both have they're place and purpose, the trick is knowing what the right tool for the job is, and being able to do it :2 cents:
