When it comes to sex, Democrats top the poll

August 26, 2004

DALLAS, Texas: Democrats are better lovers than Republicans, the latest opinion poll has found. The poll, of 900 US singles, found by a two-to-one margin that Democrats are better in bed.

And despite what people might say, it is all right to talk politics on a first date, according to 63 per cent of respondents.

It's also fine to put your political cards on the table, with 57 per cent of 1001 singles surveyed in another poll saying they would marry someone with different political views.

Both polls were conducted by Match.com, an on-line dating service.

Forty-nine per cent of respondents in the first poll said President George W. Bush is the best-looking candidate, but 53 per cent of women imagined challenger John Kerry to be the better kisser.

Republicans? Please....the other day, I was looking for a copy of "Unfit for Command" in Waldenbooks....

(Of course they were "all out" and wouldn't have it in for another week......even though the book is #1 on Amazon and there were about 40 books in there that called Bush the anti-Christ....but GOD forbid they carry a book that is anti kerry! lol)

Anway.....some guy realizes what I'm trying to find, he has on a "Beat Bush Again" shirt....starts screaming at me that it's all a plot by bush operatives......yells that all republicans are Nazis, and backs away from me out of the store with a Hitler salute yelling "Sig Hiel!".

Me and the rest of the store are just staring at him. I thanked him for the chance for open debates on the issues, and then turned and loudly said... "There you have a Kerry Supporter!"

Talk about angry! My friends and I were cracking up the whole rest of the day!

Did you ever stop to think that maybe they didn't have the book in stock at that time because it's so popular that all the copies have been bought? If it's really a #1 selling book, it would make more sense that they have sold out, rather than the idea that they aren't carrying it just to spite the republicans. Do you find conspiracy everywhere you look?

I am anti-Bush myself (but not here to get into a political debate with you), but if I was that guy's manager I'd fire his ass! I don't care what his political beliefs are, he's got no place shoving them into the faces of customers. That's just wrong!

Haha... you're right... I misunderstood. I was wondering what kind of store even allows their employees to wear anti-Bush shirts at work. Makes more sense now, and even a little bit funny!
