It's amazing how many people are voting in the presidential election merely to vote against Bush who probably NEVER vote in the local elections which actually affect them more. :(

TurboAngel 08-25-2004 09:30 AM

I'm sure as hell going to vote, everyone should!
If you don't vote you can't say shit about how things are run.

:thumbsup

Except for republicans. They don't need to register; Bush can win without votes. :winkwink: He's magical.

i have never voted in my life......and i have already registered just for this one election...and hopefulyl more to come

i have never been interested in politics really until now...I guess that is one good thing that has come out of bush being in office, his lying ways have convinced me I need to play a more active part in my country

Look at the voter turnout for federal elections and look at the voter turn out for local elections.

The 2000 presidential election had a national average registered voter turn out of 67.5%. In GA, we had less than 47% turn out for the last GA general election. Much less than that vote in the smaller elections.

I'm voting Bush, no question.

I've nbever voted or even considered registering until now. The things that have happened in the last 4 years have really made me flinch, and now I need to take action. If I don't vote this year and the years to come, I have no reason to complain.

NICE THREAD!!! :thumbsup

I've been registered to vote since 1978. For this election, I decided to REALLY step things up. Back in January I started to put my all web sites, projects, and my personal life on the back burner to originally work for the Clarke campaign, and then for John Kerry. There's just too many idiots in the current regime (Dumbya, Cheney, Rice, Asscrack, Rumsfailed, etc.).

Time to take out the "trash" and start with something better.

I've been swamped with political sites this year, but I still peek in here and other places to keep an eye on the people and programs that I'll be promoting with a vengence in 2005.

:winkwink: :winkwink: :winkwink:

tony286 08-26-2004 09:03 AM

Methodcash Rick 08-26-2004 09:40 AM

If you don't vote, you have absolutely NO RIGHT TO BITCH..

That of course, is if you're old enuf to vote.

I don't care who you vote for, JUST GET OUT THERE AND VOTE

Methodcash Rick 08-26-2004 10:55 AM

bump:thumbsup

genomega 08-26-2004 10:58 AM

By all means I would mindlessly vote for extreme left wingers.
Who cares if the price of gas goes to 10.00 a gal.
Who cares if electric bills go to 1000 a month.
Who cares if taxes go up 20%.
Who cares if we have to start paying a tax to the un.
Who cares if the world court can yank your ass halfway around the world.
And that's just the beginning.
