I don't get it.
Well everything is going ok in are new house but.......
the people around here don't go knock on the doors, they blast the horn till someone comes out. I don't get it they should get their lazy ass out of the car and knock on the door. :( |
hehe are you in Panama? sounds familiar you will get over it soon like i did. hehe
|
lol!
as I vote there are two votes cast 1 no 1 yes I voted no so I you voted yes and yet you complain ? or didn't you vote on your own poll ?? :1orglaugh |
Damn, I voted wrong...... NO I don't lay on my horn, and people who do it to me get met with one of two things.... they either get NOTHING and I continue doing what I am doing, or I jump all over their asses and let them know it's rude and if they came to see me, they better DAMN well get off their asses and knock on my door.... I don't respond well to someone laying on their horn in my damn driveway.
If they are too lazy to get their asses out of the car and knock, I am damn well too lazy to walk out there and see what they want. lol |

:winkwink: |

|
"our"
option 3: Move out of da hood? :winkwink: jk |
damn, i voted wrong too.....thought you meant just honk...didn't know you meant honk while pulling up to a house
|
I feel for you.. I complained about this in a post once already, lol. The place I live is rows of townhomes across from each other, so sounds echo and amplify really quite loud... and people pull in at all hours of morning and evening and lay on the horn.. assholes.
And although it's a family oriented place with the kid:adult ratio about 5:1, everyone seems to have car alarms which also go off at all hours. The car horn is *not* an acceptable alternative to a doorbell or knock on the door. I dont care if it's pouring rain or snow either. Give em hell! |
Man, I had a friend who did that twice, and once was bad enough. My mom tore a STRIP off me to stop bothering the neighbourhood. My friend's parents were the same. Her brother's friend used to always drive up and honk, and the dad would actually go out there and give him a good talking-to right there in the driveway.
Get OFF your lazy ass and come to the door. |
Thats just worng. The UPS guy did that once at my place, he saw me sitting inside the house and he just honked a coupleof times. After about 15 hinks he got the idea, and knocked my door
|
I don't honk when I pull up to get someone.
I get out of the car and go knock on the door. Obviously a lot of people didn't learn manners and right/wrong from their parents. It's obvious in so many different areas. |
People don't use cell phones?
|
I can tell none of you live in a busy city.
Horns? The least of my concerns. The car alarms, sirens and people yelling, not to mention cars colliding and screeching all day. And the kicker: I have neighbors who own a fucking parrot who sits outside on their porch all day mimicking these fucking car alarms and cell phone rings. wheee but I can make as much noise as I want, so its not that bad. :1orglaugh |

There's always some twit honking for someone to come out of some house in every neighborhood at one time or another. If it's the same car/same person doing it every few days it gets even more annoying.
Solution: a single well-thrown rock from an unseen source right at their car window and chances are they'll never pull the horn-honking-fucknut act again, at least not in that neighborhood. :D |
LMFAO!
CD you have a good point! :winkwink: |
When I lived in Lubbock, Texas the car horn was often referred to as a " Mexican Doorbell" ....
I've got to say, though, that I didn't notice Mexicans doing it any more than everyone else. |
I think they should knock!:thumbsup
