How much material do you need to launch a paysite?

I want to start a my first paysite. How much content do I need to have any retention and have some affiliate support?

Enough so a surfer can't download the entire Site within 2 hrs.

And Exclusve is key :)

How much can you afford???
:thumbsup

Too much. It's too late to start a paysite now. It's all over. Don't start a paysite!

hehehehe. Just messing with you. Put yourself in the surfer's shoes. The site should have enough content and updates to justify the cost. If you as a surfer would be pleased with the amount of content then you've got a decent amount.

You might have seen my thread about my twin friends (they are men). They will do it for a while for free so the actress will be the only major variable expense per shoot.

The 2 times I actually paid for porn I thought the girl was irresistable and bought it for 1 scene, no matter how many other scenes there were or how many other sites it gave me access to. I am guessing I'm unusuall in that way, so I'm asking you ;)

Retention isn't about the amount of content you have. It's about how often you update, how specific is your niche and how targeted are your sign ups. Most sites that have good retention let the surfer know exactly what he is going to get when he joins, and they deliver. You're not going to get retention by having surfers go, "Wow, this site has midgets too".

If you just want sign ups, you don't need content at all.

Ok, i might have to start small. It would not be a risk I woudl like to take to shoot more than 5 scenes without being open for biz. I suppose getting people to 'push' me will be hard ? My niche is the twin gangbang. I've never seen it, I dont know if its good, but its damn near the only thing I havent seen, lol :2 cents:
