I dont really mean the people that own the sites, but i mean can people make a full career out of promoting various porn sites?

not promoting normally but have your own site yes, and also having other people exit and banners on your site

A lot of them do ... a lot of them don't . But yes it's possible if you work hard.

GFY can open doors for many people. Some people do really well at branding themselves or their program and can get positive exposure.

Sure why not. Everything is possible. But that doesn't mean it is.
