Because I don't have a TV in my house. I think they are a bigger waste then anything. I stick to the net and music

We have tvs in every room, but I don't watch it anymore cuz there's no cable in my office...I just keep it in here so my girls can watch scooby doo. I do miss Court TV, though!

You can DL most of those and watch them anytime!

I can't see anything wrong with that, just ignore them, that's only your thing what you like. I only watch TV because of news and that's all, don't like it either and actually don't blame you, there's many more better things to do than watch tv.

When I watch the Simpsons I do not get 10 minutes of commercials stuffed in my face.

I also don't have to plan my day around the TV. I can watch it at my Leisure. That's a huge advantage, I don't have to take a 30 min break at 530 if I want to watch something

I don't plan crap either, I sometimes will get home turn on the PC and start working, I will have had CP24 (which is our 24 hour news station) on from the morning to check out the weather. I will get wrapped up working and think 'hey the news is on it can't be that late...' well yeah it is...it's the bloody 24 hour news station.

I don't pay much attention to it when I am at home, but for those days when I just wanna lay around and kick back, it's sort of hard to watch hockey or football on the 'puter =)

I dont spend much time watching tv myself, but I watch a lot of dvd's on my tv:Graucho

TV + TIVO = control.

I watch TV when I need a break and I have all the shows I like recorded so I can pick and choose my times. All commercials are fast forwarded in less than 10 seconds.

I can watch 3 episodes of COPS in under an hour

I have a TV but I watch it ... once a week for 1-2 h . Unless I rent movies . I rather go to the theater see a good movie then sit my ass inside and waste my time .

I agree... Olympic games and important hockey matches I can watch in pubs and another is wasting my time:-)

downloading is not the same as watching it on tv. i have never watched a movie on the computer, i have always gone to the theatre, same with episodes.

I remember not having a TV for a year and it was great. TV is such a passive mind numbing way to pass the time! :2 cents:

we have a tv in every room and have cable but it dont matter coz we live in ireland and they only show the shite programmes thats on......... but the kids like the cartoon channel.....

so i dont watch it anymore:)
