Looking for video game system

I'm looking for a video game system suitable for little ones. Around the age of 5 that has lots of simple games available. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance. :)

my kid is 5 now, has had his own ps2 since his 4th birthday, he can play the fuck out of all the driving games. Put a 19" monitor in his room and a force feedback steering wheel and surround sound... hes totaly hooked up.

Atari, intellevision, or colleco.

Make them start where we did damn it.

If it's for the kids, I'd go with the Nintendo or the PS2. Depending on their age.

gamecube is suitable for kids are get them a GBA

ldinternet 08-23-2004 03:28 PM

GameCube has lots of good "cute" games for kids.

I feel that PS2 and XBox are geared more towards teens and adults. Xbox moreso, especially given the size of the standard Xbox controller, which is probably bigger than your kid.

Gamecube! I have one and I love it (along with my xbox and ps2) Gamecube has Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, and of course Mario, Super Monkey Ball, etc... look for the new game called Donkey Conga, it comes with little congas as the controller and you have to beat on them...great for kids :1orglaugh

Manowar 08-23-2004 04:38 PM

Gamcube for the little ones, Xbox/PS2 for teenagers

Agreed. I have all three systems and gamecube is best for the kids. I myself prefer the PS2 and my younger(17years olds) brothers prefer the XBOX. My little boys like them all but I think the gamecube has the best kid games hands down

For that age I would go with a gamecube or Playstation. :thumbsup

Your kids would grow up thinking they were in the 80's :1orglaugh

Get em the gamecube. Xbox controllers will be to big and then get them the new Playstation when that comes out.

So, if we follow your logic, that's the first car he should be driving?
