Debate: Who's responsibility is it to proof read content
Clients, Web Designer?
|
The party responsible for providing said content.
:2 cents: |
The designer of course. I love when I see tours with horrible spelling or grammar. Makes me laugh.
Of course, any client should also always proof read designs because things can be missed. If they care about their product, they should want to check that everything written is accurate and their site is represented correctly. |

Although if the copy was given to them by the client then sole responsilibity lands with the said client. Regards, Lee |

:1orglaugh You crack me up man, I like your work too :thumbsup |
As a writer, I'd have to say who ever is selling it. I stink when it comes to grammer. Commas make sentences pretty and if you want to look professional, use semi-colons.
Tala looks over all my stuff. Which is why I use a lot of simple sentences. :) :thumbsup |

Aren't you supposed to be writing something? :1orglaugh Any text provider should do the proofing. If they don't, then why the hell are you paying them? Designers should proof any work in their design. And ALWAYS go over your site before you launch it to make doubly sure that your content provider and designer didn't miss anything. :glugglug |
