Does buying traffic really work, and if so who is the best to buy from? Is adulttrafficgenerator.com any good?

Or perhaps a pay site?(Bad idea)
A free site or linklist?
Use it for trading?

Those are important factors in deciding what and who's traffic to buy.

It would be for my own pay site. Just a one man operation trying to get more traffic. If I don't buy the traffic is there an alternative method to get more people to visit a pay site? What do you suggest?

If buying is what you seek PPC search engines might be what you need. Also talk with the guys from sex.com I heared good results from other paysite owners.

I would not go with the average broker to send directly to the paysite. If that's what you want I would create one or more trade sites to filter the traffic and make more of it and filter to my paysite on there.

An affiliate program would also help greatly in attracting more surfers to your site.

Its tough to buy traffic.. the really good sources are always sold out.

Chokers or FPC traffic might be good for you. Google em.. I don't have the links handy.

No I'm saying you should look carefully at what broker is selling what type of traffic.

Traffic can come from different sources each with their own rules to treat if you want to max out on it.

Hi stevendice, I can offer you some options on traffic at excellent rates. All traffic is from my own networks / affiliate programs and I can even show you where the traffic is coming from so your not buying blind ( as in having no idea what sites are promoting your own site ).

I also don`t promote clients sites in console chains ( normally terrible productivity ) but from using clean popunders or true 404 redirection from my own programs as mentioned above.

I also have very limited availability on descriptive clicked traffic.

Actually, reading all you've posted I wonder if it's a good idea to start off in this biz with a paysite. There seems to be a hell of a lot you don't know yet, I suggest you start with a freesite :2 cents:

You sound like you got alot to learn. Be aware that buying traffic will burn a hole in your hand if you don't understand the source. I would suggest buying adsense PPC first (small daily limit) and work from there. Also, don't try other sources of traffic, won't work. Popups/404/blind clicks are very hard to convert into sales.

I'd suggest trying out adultplex's mailer before you start fucking around with CJ traffic (what everyone else is selling). If you can afford it that is.
