Untitled BMP versus JPG when saving an image?
 

Anyone know why IE will sometimes want to save a JPG image as an untitled BMP and other times correctly as a JPG?

Clear your cache.

its a known bug in IE. Refresh and clear cache.

clear cache , then rub one out then it should be fine

If you wouldve done a search you wouldve found out this has been answered a million gazillion times before :)

I have this problem from time to time as well
good to know the solution to it now :thumbsup

sometimes clearing the cache doesn't fix it. click "settings" and "show objects" and delete any objects that look suspicious i.e. do not show a file size or are missing any other info such as date etc.
