What % does Google Adsense give web publishers per click?

I'm assuming they pay a % of the revenue they bring in. Anyone know how much it is?

Trying to see if it's worth it before I go applying.

I believe it's 50%, or so it was, to webmasters/publishers.

No, it depends on many variables and is different for each click really.
