Do they provide members' area security, or will I need additional software such as Password Cop?

I used to think CCBILL sucks, but my latest
paysite works great with CCBILL! They gave
me a personal account manager who I can
email or call 24h/day for my questions etc...

They only don't know how to close an

they do provide it yes. if you are hosted on a Unix / linux server. if not you have to buy a special package.

they do all the work for you. but the let like everyone chargeback.
I have had guys n my memberssection and rebilling 3 times and then they chargebacked. that sucks

but they are quite ok i think.

right? CCBILL doens't provide that. they do
however install the .htaccess etc

CCBill is pretty good. I know I had to call them up a few times because their redirect server would go down and my members would be bitching at me.
That all was happening almost a year ago, they might have improved since then, I could not tell you how they are now. I changed to Globill-systems.com
They seem to be a lot more webmaster and member friendly. Simple to set up new accounts and quick about it.

I think i already told you ccbill were ok but having said that I would mail them all with your questions and see what comes back. These top billing companies know all the latest info about leaching and security and you should find them very responsive and helpful. I have nothing to do with server side security stuff but do know that there is leaching and password control in place. Give Hardcorehosting a call on ICQ, I think this might be the guy to help you here.

They manage your member's access. As far as password abuse goes, they will give you that if you host with CWIE.

Your host can also give you password abuse protection, ask for iprotect (free). If you use Win2K, ask for webquota ($500).

If you run on a unix based system, ovelo.com is the cheapest protection available.

QUIT THE SPAM YOU FUCKING LAMER.

They provide everything... they do have some security issues with their PWM software, but for the most part its a fairly good setup.
