I heard my first goose fly over today. Summer is officially drawing to a close. Only a few weeks left til they all start leaving. But at least that means the bald eagles come back. I miss them.

I will be so glad when the hot weather is gone. It has more than worn it's welcome out this year. But I do appreciate the electric company tripling my bill for the little bit I run a 110 air-conditioner:thumbsup

I've been cooped up inside all summer, and haven't properly enjoyed it. THe window a/c unit we bought did boost our electric bill up to March levels, though. *sigh*

No camping, no hiking, no beaching, no bonfires, no trips to the Island (like we promised), no trips to Medicine Hat to see mother in law (like we promised). Ugh. I should be punished.

It's been really cold lately arround here . I just hope we see the sun couple more days

It's just starting to warm up here. Only a week or two since we dipped below freezing (0C) for the first time this year, and now we're heading back into sunny and warmer days. Later this week the expected top is 22C (71F), and don't forget we're still in Winter! Melbourne weather is very strange...

This has been a dull summer for me, hardly any action. Nothing big happened and its been slow as hell.

I have to qualify my previous statement. I didn't do anything summery at home, but I did have a few wonderful trips that were totally AWESOME and TUBULAR and RADICAL that were so much fun!! :)

12month of summer here. this winter was just perfect, no rain for 3 month and temps in the twenties.
