Anyone ever use "Priceline.com"?
How is their service?
Me and my buddy wanna get a flight down to Miami, FL. But, it sucks. They don't show you the time or how many stops the flight will have. Has anyone ever did this? :helpme |
its not bad...
|
i used them for a hotel once ended up getting a $300 night room for $100, it was great :thumbsup
|
Just realize that they can pick ANY flight they want within the time frame you put down. For instance, if you want to leave on August 28 and come back on September 1, you can be leaving at 12:01 AM August 28 and coming back at 11:59 PM September 1 which will put you back home on September 2.
I've heard they have a new service where you pay a bit more and can narrow the time selections a little bit or the stops, but I've not looked into it. If you are VERY flexible, go for it. |
Anybody compares expedia vs priceline ?
|
I would only use it for hotels, not flights
|
Priceline...its cheaper than the rest...but you got to be FLEXIBLE...
I use Expedia for most of my travel... |
i like hotwire.com better

I don't know about priceline at all, but I do know that I saved $42 by switching to Geico insurance

I use Priceline all the time. I never pay more than $20/day for a rental car and never pay more than $75/night for a 4 star hotel. I've used it a couple times for flights when I was able to fly anytime on a day and it went fine, just be prepared for some stops. Whenever I'm considering using Priceline I always go to www.biddingfortravel.com first. Its a forum of Priceline users and they post their recent winning bids for hotels, cars and flights. This helps you not to overbid and what bid you can probably win with for a particular product and destination. |
