Who do you use to regester your domains?
 

I read godaddy sucks. I used them on a few but someone said they could even be stolen (not quite sure how that works). But I'm starting a mainstream site I ahve a lot of faith in and I dont want it hijacked. Someone tell me why godaddy sucks and who I should use instead.

I use http://www.namecheap.com - they rock. I have hundreds of domains with them and never a problem.

wow.. $8.88 a domain, and to think ive been spending $8.95 on my domains this entire time when i could have been saving 7 cents :(

ive heard bad things about godaddy.. but never had a problem with them myself... next domain i buy i should give this site a try tho =)

DirectNic is a bit fucked. I was looking for some domains there (mainstream, non-sexual), and because those were already registered, it suggested a bunch of other ones, including:

I use enom, godaddy/bluerazor/wildwestdomains, directi.

there have been horror stories about godaddy, but usually from people who were accused (rightly/wrongly) of spamming, so godaddy either shutdown the domain or deleted it. never had a problem with them (500+ domains there) and they answer the phone 24 hours a day. seriously great customer service.

i use namecheap and domainsite both paypal domainsite is 6.99 and namecheap is 8.88
