Do you or would you date older men?

If you are already are in a relationship, would you consider dating older men if you weren't?

If so, how old would be too old?

If you are inclined to not date older men, would it make a difference if the guy looked like Pierce Brosnan and had a lot of $$ to spend on you?

most young women who want older men are gold diggers. They don't come out and say it but usually they want older men because they already have thier degree's and in most cases have higher level jobs which pay more and are more secured. Its not always this way but most of the time it is.

I guess it depends on the age difference. I suspect most of these women want to feel secure and it just so happens that older men can provide that more readily than younger men, which is fine for the older guy who wants a hot younger babe in his bed every night.

I'm 20-something, but I'm in a committed relationship. I can offer you some feedback, though.

I would date older men. In fact, I prefer older men. Not because they have more money, but because they're more likely to treat me right. I have never dated a man for money and wouldn't under any circumstance, so the money thing makes no difference to me. I would want someone mature, sober, kind and faithful, with alot in common with me personally.

Some men that I find incredibly sexy (although keep in mind that I'm a bit of a sci-fi nerd) are Sean Connery, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and MOST especially, that gorgeous bald hunk of man Patrick Stewart. He is so *incredibly* sexy! I also like some bigger men, too. Like John Goodman and John Popper (who has lost weight recently, but I liked him when he was bigger, too.) Basically, I'm more for personality than looks, because I find alot of men very sexy that most women don't. To me, sex appeal isn't about looks or age, it's about a state of mind. :)

I much prefer older men. Stamina can only do so much. Experience can do anything.

Sure, I'll date older guys, I have in the past. And I also kind of prefer them....and no, not for money. They're usually already housebroken! They're stable, mature and are usually beyond just looking to "hook up".

I was 21 when I met my husband and he is 6 year older ! My girlfriend wanted to set me up with her boyfriend's lawyer friend at the time. I never did it. I dated my poor boyfriend and married him for his personality.

I have a friend who actually does it the other way around. He prefers mature ladies, perhaps because he has not been very lucky with females of his own age or younger :) His current girlfriend is 16 years older than him!!!

Personally, I think the age difference should be +/- 5 yo max. The bigger the age difference the shorter the relationship will last in a long-term perspective.

My boyfriends are always about 5 years older then me. I'm 23 years old, and most guys my age are not on the same wavelenght as I am. I met a few who are but for some reason I never dated any of them.

I'm in a relationship, but if I was to date, I would say I could go up to about 35 (I'm 28). Beyond that and it would be too weird. I would feel like a pet or a novelty for him. But it all depends on the circumstance too, I guess.
