Selling Domain Names

Who here does it? Whats the general charge on auction sites if it gets no bids?

Illicit 08-21-2004 05:12 PM

Ive sold some through Pool.com.

There are different charges for different levels of exposure on their site. You can also try sedo.us

I'm just wondering how difficult it really is, by the way taboo describes it, its basic haha.

its not too difficult. just have a good name and people will bid :)

Ive registered a ton of $8 and sold them for $75-100

Im buying more expensive names now and hoping for some nice pay days

Is there a reserve? Will I be able to refuse the offer if it doesn't appeal to me?

depends where you sell em... at sedo, you put the domain there and when you get offers you can negotiate... you can even cancel the negotiation if you want. With pool you can either just sell it for a specific price or put it at auction. I would assume you wouldnt start it at a price that is less then you are looking for.
