We had the same problem with someone using pillmoney.com when my boss's run pillsmoney.com


The guys who owned that where really cool about it and we took care of it asap

but now this new company using pillbucks.com .. they are being really stupid bout it

Fuck i went to see their site now i think i just got a stealth install on my computer.... Fuckers if they do this.

we found out about pillmoneyand pillbucks at the same time ... it was easy enough to handle the pillmoney one but the pillbucks guys are just being silly

will deal more with it monday.. I talked to a rep over there today and i guess the boss isnt something else i said oh well ill just get in touch with your boss and talk to him then and the dude goes " good tell him i want my check aswell"

I know it has confussed some of my affilates as some of them have msged me and are like " nice new design! " and im like wtf .. and they tell me they had to re sign up cuz there info was gone ... and it turns out they forgot an S :(

If I started a sponsor program for pills I'd probably type in pillbucks.com as well. I wouldn't even think to type in pillsbucks.com because to me that sounds retarded. I doubt anyone can do a thing about it especially being the person in question has the domain that is grammatically correct.

grammer has nothing to do with it at all ... .. Oh well .. I guess it is just a shady way to do biz

What part did you not understand? I would never even look at pillsbucks.com to see if there were a program there because it's a dumb domain IMO. I wouldn't have known you existed until you contacted me at which point I'd laugh at you for having a grammatically incorrect domain name with a sponsor program and didn't even think to register the correct version of it.

I would offer you $8 for it though.

I doubt this will cause you major dammage . Actually that can be very missleading ... for a type-in . But most joins would be from banner / sigs anyways :P

off them some money for the domain if all else fails.

So, I can definitely see why you feel threatend. I'm sure plenty of affiliates accidentally type their domain name instead. I say buy them out immediately, before they get to big, and it's too late. :2 cents:

well i know i have sent them a few affilates ... because some of my affilates have contacted me asking why they had to re-register and what not :-/
