just read that although it's legal to own as many guns as you want, it's illegal to own more than 5 dildo's in Texas.
It's not really the fact that except for conflict/war areas, the US (and Canada, but they make it up with lesser deaths) has the most guns per capita, but the fact that there are so many contradictory and stupid laws in the US, that keeps the rest of the western world thinking: strange americans
same with:
illegal to take on plane: spoon = possible weapon
legal to take on plane: cigarette lighter + handkerchief + strong liquor (from the tax free shop) = molotov cocktail
