i made 6 cents from my stdcalculator.com site :1orglaugh

i guess that was a bad idea to try to get sales.. fricken site got like 15k hits first week from getting listed on collegehumor.com and a few other sites.

but now its barely at 20 hits/day

besides that.. i havent really tried AFF... i always used personalbucks

they kick ass with ppc se traffic, so far with tgp/toplist/link dump traffic they havent been great, but none of my sponsors are lookin hot right now.. need to do some serious research on my traffic and see whats up with it.

i get a lot of free ads placed with them, around 1:30ish on my toplist and link dumps, which i could be making $1/per ad.. but im toughing it out and sending it to their partnership program..

this was from my last ppc se campaign.. last year, i mainy promote them in the winter since that seems to be the time dating sites convert best in the winter.. only spent $50 in advertising on the search engine, but bidded way low.. this was over a period of about 7 months.

not getting rich quick, but worth it in the long haul :thumbsup

Shave?! You must be kidding! C'mon guys you think we just got here yesterday? I don't know how anybody can propose that we're ripping off our webmasters. Now?! First off, there is not, in my opinion, a chance in hell that they shave.
Heres a really helpful hint. I have promoted AFF HARD for the last couple of years. Been very happy with my results. Only thing is, you should not choose the "Pay Per Click" option. After 10,000 of tests, I can guarantee that you will make more money (much more money) with the Pay Per Member option. '

I currently have 27 affiliate accounts under me and would be more then happy to give you some marketing tricks.

I appreciate that 49thParallel. I'm glad you're happy with our returns on your taffic. Just for clarification, though, AFF has no per member program. We pay a per member bonus under the rev. share program. PPC may be a better option for traffic types that don't convert so well to orders, or when as an affiliate you prefer a "more upfront" reward structure.

AFF is one of the best sites out there... I do not believe for a second that they shave.. we have been promoting them for years and our money has gone through the roof.. I am sooooo proud to have stuck with them for so long!
