Anyone got a 44 magnum?

Do you like them? I been thinking about picking one up. What are your opinions?

WWC 08-21-2004 01:11 AM

2 of them.....

AaronM 08-21-2004 01:13 AM

Guns are bad.

They kill innocent people and increase crime rates.

tyler86ed 08-21-2004 01:14 AM

357 here.

People kill people.

That was always my generic answer.

But yesterday my friend was shot and killed in his driveway directly accross the street from my house.

I have a different view on things now.

TheJimmy 08-21-2004 01:39 AM

I'd love a nice DE in that caliber...

although a nice classic revolver would work as well...

Ask my dad I know hes got one. Hes usually packing at night here around the offices. Usually his 357 Smith and Wesson, but sometimes he likes to pack his 44 Mag Smith & Wesson. Its very powerful with a great kick and recoil. I guess it depends on what your gonna do with it. Hit my dad up AKA Love Brokers. He will tell you the striaght scoop.:thumbsup

Candice 08-21-2004 05:49 AM

I have a Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum, I really like it. :thumbsup

Damn alot of ppl in the states have guns, some ways i wish i could carry one around with me. don't think that is anywhere near legal in canada. I'm not sure how you guys carry around a gun unnoticed.

EscortBiz 08-21-2004 06:05 AM

why would a gfy member need a gun, based on the fight stories here it looks like people here are pro fighters

Fucksakes 08-21-2004 06:12 AM

personally id rather carry around a bat. what fun is a gun.

Yeah the funny thing is that you can buy in America all kinds of guns with 18 years, but you're not allowed to drink booze before reaching 21. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I got a .357... I think it rusted due to lack of use for the past few years.

and a vintage WWII Garand Rifle.

FrankWhite 08-21-2004 08:18 AM

i had fun with 357 magnum in florida, very powerfull gun, i would love to own one.!!!

LukieD 08-21-2004 08:20 AM

Guns don?t kill people, rappers do.

Doctor Dre 08-21-2004 08:31 AM

The only gun I'l ever have is a fucking 12 .

No use for small handguns, they will just make you do fucked up things you will regret your whole life .

It's soo ez to kill somebody when something happens ... I rather not have any gun except a huge 12

KRL 08-21-2004 09:25 AM

They are overkill. Way too powerful, loud as hell, too large, and too much kickback. Unless you're Clint Eastwood (Dirty Harry) I'd recommend something easier to handle effectively.

Shooting a 44 feels like a shotgon in a pistol version.

bad_girl 08-21-2004 09:36 AM

Ah I love gun toting rednecks.

Godbless America.

Get your facts straight.

In America...You can legally buy rifles and shotguns at 18 but 21 is the requirement for hand guns or class 3 weapons.

As far as the drinking thing.....The average American is too immature to handle drinking at 21.

Revolvers are nice because they don't eject the evidence :winkwink:

ATM, I'm with Dre. The only heat I pack is my Mossberg 3 1/2" .12 gauge loaded at all times with 6 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. "The Home Defender" :thumbsup

hey is absolutely correct, better hope you hit with the first shot cuz that is all you got. The recoil is insane and you REALLY have to know what you are doing to get a nice grouping on your shots. If the other person is carrying something that is common like a 9mm you will be exchanging shots at 5:1.

The gun has good stopping power but it is impractical for self defense. I am looking at a gun we are calling "the noisy cricket" thing fits in the palm of my hand but it throws garbage cans! I believe it is a .45 but I will have to get back to you on that one.

Screaming 08-22-2004 06:10 PM

no and i dont think i could hold it up and fire it, i am not that strong, although i am getting there carring around the baby, diaper bag, toys, groceries, and varies other thing i carry all day so maybe one day i will

fucking_loser 08-22-2004 06:22 PM

if i had a gun i would shoot some black ass hahahahahaha on the streets :ak47:

AkiraSS 08-22-2004 06:29 PM

I have a Paul Chen hand made katana, does it count? :)

arial 08-22-2004 06:32 PM

Shot one before, they have a hell of a kick to them.

you can get the desert eagle in 44 magnum also. Since its a semiauto the recoil inst too bad, plus its a heavy gun.

Ahhhhhhh....the 44 in magnum load is like using a military flame thrower to light a cigarette for self defense. But with the .44 spl load, its satisfactory. The Winchester Silver Tip bullets carry one hellashious kick along with a flame outta the barrel about a foot long.:)

Gruntled 08-22-2004 08:12 PM

If you need a cannon, you may as well stick with a rifle.

For handguns, the classic .45 is all you need.

Para-Ordinance

Plenty of stopping power, reliable. The paras have the nice beavertail safety. kudos to them.

Carry anything larger, and it's just for show.
