..yes its old, but i go from having a completly shitty day to honestly on the floor laughing so fucking hard i cant take in any air. http://tard-blog.com is an online blog written by an special ed teacher, who submits stories about her day at work. i went from reading entry number 1, and just could not stop until i finished every story. She honestly isnt a cruel woman, she loves her students very much, but some of the things that happen are just too much to not be told... enjoy, because once you start reading i promise you will lose about 3-4hours of your time.


All her submissions are true, only the names have been changed, including hers (she is known as "Riti Sped")

Here's a short one...

The field trip

On our field trip this morning, one of the reetees spotted a birds nest in a big bush. The whole gang tweeted. I cleared some branches out so the kids could take a closer look. There was one little egg in the nest. The kids were in awe. Especially when Jamel, my little Sudanese SBD child asks if he can touch the egg. I let him. He picks the egg up out of the basket and crushes it in his hand. At this, some kids are crying, others are wanting to see the inside. Jamel fucking licks the shit out of his fucking hand, then throws the shell on the ground, and smashes it profusely with his feet.

This is only one of many things that has occurred today. I am in my room, waiting for my 11:00 group to show up for math. It is 11:09, I begin to wonder where they are. Then I remind myself that they are retarded, and stop wondering.

the pay is shit especially for what she has to put up with daily... she could go else where to get paid more and have alot less stress but she stayed by those poor kids sides, obviouslly she cares for them otherwise she wouldnt put up for less imcome that we make doing nothing.
